Tony Macaroni, the Scotland-based Italian casual-dining brand, owned by the Scotland-based hospitality group Viva Italia Group, is set to enter India and the UAE in 2026 through a franchise-led expansion strategy. The brand plans to strengthen its presence across the UAE, the wider GCC and India through a structured three-year rollout focused on building a scalable franchise network and long-term regional capability.
Tony Macaroni’s India expansion will be driven through a franchise partnership with Franchise India, facilitated by FranGlobal, the international arm of Franchise India. The partnership intends to identify and develop franchising opportunities across multiple high-potential locations in the country. FranGlobal describes itself as Franchise India’s international business arm.
“With a strong foothold in Scotland and UK, Tony Macaroni is now making its entry into the UAE and Indian markets, creating a robust foundation for international growth,” said Mr. Gaurav Marya, Chairman, Franchise India Group. “Through a structured franchise model, world-class training and a consistent guest experience, the brand is well positioned to build meaningful regional scale across these high-opportunity markets.”
