Born in the heart of New York City, Melt Shop first opened its doors in 2011. Today, Melt Shop has 8 corporate locations in New York, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. In January 2018, the brand expanded internationally with the opening of its first overseas location in Kuwait; 7 additional locations in the Middle East are planned. Melt Shop’s first domestic franchise location will open summer 2018 in Delaware as part of an 21 restaurant expansion throughout the North East. Melt Shop was the brainchild of Spencer Rubin, a New Jersey native and all-around sandwich junkie and Josh Morgan, an ex-full service guy (Houstons, Nomad) who is all about that fast-casual life.
